It gives me great pleasure to welcome you as a new REALTIST® to the Washington Real Estate Brokers Association (WREBA) and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). On behalf of our Board of Directors, Officers, members, associates, affiliates and friends, this is an extraordinary opportunity in the life of the WREBA to welcome you to an inclusive trade association that speaks for the un-served and underserved families in housing. We are comprised of Real Estate Brokers, Sales Associates, Developers, Appraisers, and Mortgage Brokers/Lenders, Housing / Education Providers, private industry and more. All have value and a place to grow, learn and participate.

The Greater Washington Area has challenged we REALTISTS to lift our banner, take the lead and champion the Real Estate industry to be their voice in these very difficult times. We are excited as a trade association to meet the challenge and invite you to participate with our membership-based organization through our committees, national affiliates, training seminars, community outreach, annual events and other opportunities.

Be encouraged to join, speak out and actively participate. Become familiar with WREBA and NAREB. Grow with us as we embark on our new challenges for 2007. These challenges being to increase memberships, expand our community involvement and restore the organization to its original prominence. Use the many networking opportunities to reach higher productivity professionally and personally. The choice is yours on which direction you take in our Association. We welcome you!
